Connecting Real-Time Scheduling for Non-Cloud-Based Shop Management Systems

To fully enroll in Real-Time Scheduling, we need to connect your RepairPal Dashboard Appointments to your Shop Management System (SMS). You will start the process inside your Dashboard and your SMS, but for non-cloud-based SMSs, you will need to install the integration on your "Server Computer".

You will need to follow the instructions below if you have one of these SMSs:

  • R.O. Writer
  • Mitchell1 (Mitchell1 Enterprise is not supported)
  • NAPA Tracs (NAPA Tracs online is not currently supported)

Instructions for Non-Cloud/On-Premise Shop Management Systems

You will start inside the RepairPal Dashboard, but for part of the process, you will be working outside of the RepairPal Dashboard.

Make sure you follow these instructions on your "Server Computer". If you're unsure of which computer is your server computer if any of the following is true, it likely is your server computer

  • When you need to troubleshoot your SMS, what computer do you usually use?
  • Is there a computer that you usually close Repair Orders on?
  • Is there a computer somewhere in the shop that nobody typically uses?
