RepairPal.com gets 6+ million online visitors each month and lets you expand your reach with repairs from optional partner relationships such as CarMax and USAA as well as warranty and some of the largest tow programs in the nation. Participate in as many partnerships that are appropriate for your business (or all of them) to increase the leads you receive each month.

Partner Programs

Below is a listing of the partner programs we have available


Consumer Focus

Partners in this program expect the highest level of service that RepairPal is known for. By opting into this program, you’ll be eligible to receive referrals from customers who rely on them as a trusted source. To participate in this program, you must adhere to certain guidelines, such as conducting background checks when hiring employees. Please see the contract for complete details.


Tow Program

Participating in the tow program with RepairPal means you’re eligible to receive disabled vehicles towed in by one of our partners. You’re helping consumers in their greatest time of need and assisting them in getting back on the road quickly. By opting into the tow program, you’re agreeing to accept vehicles that are being towed in from our partners at any time of the day, which means you’ll need to have an after hours key drop (or similar). Make sure to update your After Hours Message in your Dashboard, to reflect this (User Name > Shop Profile > Edit)


CarMax

  • CarMax has revolutionized the auto industry by delivering the honest, transparent and high-integrity car buying experience customers want and deserve. CarMax has sold more than 6 million vehicles and operates 195 stores in 39 states. CarMax has partnered with RepairPal to provide their customers a high-quality repair experience, and surveys show many shops are creating lifetime customers from these repairs.
  • CarMax customers will be given a $50 reduction* on their MaxCare® deductible for using your shop  (*For ESPs sold in Washington and Oregon, the reduced deductible is not applicable).
  • Opting into this program means you’ll be receiving referrals from CarMax associates and that you put the customer first; you’re committed to fair practices and only completing necessary repairs. 


Extended Service Providers

We offer many different ways for your shop to help customers with extended service contracts. Opting into this program means you’ll be getting referrals from the provider’s websites and agents, and will need to follow a claims process for payment. Certain partners have different participation rules, so visit our partnership pages for details.


Affinity

Our Affinity program consists mainly of our telematics partners. These partners, like Verizon Hum and FIXD, recommend your shop via an app, to drivers who have their device plugged into the OBD port of their car. To participate in the Affinity partnership, we must be able to connect to your shop management system. If you’re not sure if you’re connected, consult with a Shop Success Manager.


SimpleTire

SimpleTire is an online retailer of tires. They ship tires directly to consumers (or your shop) for installation and balancing. To participate in this program, you must meet certain criteria, agree to pre-set pricing, and be able to install tires at your shop. This partnership is unique because we do not assess a referral fee on these jobs unless consumers have work outside the predetermined installation completed at your shop.

CarParts.com

Carparts.com is one of the nation’s leading online auto parts retailers. Our partnership allows Certified RepairPal Shops to install customer purchased parts and attract a whole new customer base by participating in e-commerce in a meaningful way. For the consumer, they get a high quality list of shops that they can visit to properly and safely install the parts they have purchased.

Partner FAQs

How much do each of these partnerships cost?

Participating in our partnership program is optional and pay-for-performance. 

Once you receive a referral, we charge 10% of parts and labor* on any completed repair orders. This fee is separate from the monthly $199 fee to be part of the RepairPal network. 

Can I participate in some and not others?

Absolutely. We work to bring you as many partnerships as we can, so that you have multiple opportunities to grow your business. Most partnerships have guidelines and nuances for participation, and some of those may not work well for you. You know what is best for your shop. If you want to try a partnership, and it doesn’t work out, you can opt out at any time. In this way, we maximize both the number of choices and the amount of control you have of your RepairPal relationship. We recommend not opting out of any programs on the contract, so that you can try all the partners to start with. You can then customize your referral experience by calling 800-969-9204 option 1, or emailing shopsuccess@repairpal.com.
