Tow Dispatches

The Tows section of your dashboard lists dispatches made to your shop from our tow partners. You will be able to see basic customer information and leave notes if necessary. This list helps you manage your tow referrals and will save you time if monitored regularly.

CVP View

If you have our Customer Verification Program (CVP) installed, you will see dispatches that have arrived in your shop. Leave any notes that are important about the tow (these notes will be visible by the RepairPal team).

Non CVP View

If you don't have CVP installed, you will see all tows dispatched to your shop (even if they didn't arrive). You'll need to manually verify which tows actually arrived.

If you have any tows that need to be verified or need invoices, you will see those listed at the top so that you can get them verified more quickly! If you need to mark a tow as “Arrived” or “Not Arrived”, find that tow and click on the “Verify” status button to update that tow.

Reasons a tow may not arrive

Dispatches are created right away and don't always know the full extent of the car issue or what the customer wants to do. Some reasons why a dispatched tow may not arrive to your shop:

  • Car does not need auto repair (flat tire with spare available, lockout, dead battery, out of gas, accident, etc.)
  • The customer requests a tow to home or work
  • The customer requests a tow to another shop
  • The customer cancels the dispatch for any reason
