Strengthen Your Profile With Photos

Your shop profile delivers the first impression to your customers.

Customers will be searching through list of shops as they decide where to take their car for repair - make your shop stands out with attractive photos. These photos can help you attract customers and increase conversion.

Once your shop profile is live, it can take some time for Google to index your shop results among the others. To boost your rankings, it's important to ensure you have a strong, complete, profile with quality pictures, good marketing text, and current reviews.

Photo Tips:

  • Grab their attention with your first photo. That's the first thing customers will see in the search results
  • Upload as many pictures as we allow. Send them to us at shopsucess@repairpal.com and we will upload them with a unique headline that adds content to your page.
  • Share videos in addition to pictures on your RepairPal profile

When selecting photos for your profile, consider sending a variety of different images:

  • Clear shots of the exterior of your shop from multiple angles
  • Shots of the customer waiting area or lounge focusing on amenities. Make it look inviting and clean
  • Shots of the front counter area with a smiling staff member behind it. Who would a customer normally see there? Take this opportunity to be a welcoming, smiling face.
  • Group shots of staff. Not every auto tech likes smiling for photos but the good thing is they only have to do it once!
  • Shot of your RepairPal signage. Can't mount it? Have someone hold it.
  • Action shots of techs wrenching on cars. Any cool cars in the shop? Snap those. Any high-end tools or scanners you're proud of? Show them in use. Build confidence that you are just as capable as a dealer or CarMax
  • Anything that makes you look friendly -- community events, dogs, grandkids, the staff in costumes for Halloween or dressed up as Santa -- this is all quality content
