Headstart Warranty Group (HWG)
Headstart Warranty Group now uses the YDE (Your Dealer Experience) platform to manage all claim submissions. This digital process allows your shop to submit, track, and finalize claims online without needing to call.
How to Submit a Claim

Step 1: Access the YDE Platform
You can access YDE by downloading their mobile app Your Dealer Experience (YDE)" from the App Store or Google Play.
If this is your first time using YDE, you will need to register your shop using the setup code provided by HWG. If you do not have this code, contact HWG support using the information at the bottom of this article.
Step 2: Log In or Register
- Returning users can log in with their existing credentials.
- New users should select "Register" and follow the prompts to create an account.
Step 3: Locate the Customer’s Coverage
Once logged in:
- Search for the customer’s vehicle or contract
- Confirm that the vehicle has active coverage under Headstart Warranty Group
Step 4: Submit the Claim
- Select the appropriate coverage
- Upload all required documentation, including:
- Repair estimate
- Photos, if applicable
- Any additional supporting documents
- Submit the claim through the portal
Step 5: Monitor Claim Status
- You will receive confirmation of your submission by email and in the YDE portal
- Claim updates and approvals will be visible in the portal
- All communication regarding the claim can be handled within the platform
Claim Review Hours
Claims are reviewed Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Central Time. Claims submitted outside of these hours will be reviewed the next business day.
Additional Notes
- Estimates and photos can be uploaded directly to the claim
- Notifications are sent automatically by email and through the portal
- YDE includes a built-in messaging tool for communicating with the HWG claims team. This allows you to request support directly within the claim, without needing to call
