USAA Services - Catalytic Converter Replacement Program

USAA Services is a partnership for shops eligible and already participating with our USAA Partnership.

If you were already participating in our USAA Program, you were automatically enrolled. We sent out emails asking if your shop would like to opt out. You must participate in regular USAA referrals to participate in this cat replacement program.
As you know catalytic converter theft is on the rise. They can be stolen in under 3 minutes, and thieves flip them for quick cash due to the precious metals inside.
USAA Members with Auto Insurance policies are having this happen too. That's why USAA is going to make direct referrals to our network to get their catalytic converters replaced once they're stolen.
In most cases, the customers have already been paid out, you just need to source and install the part as usual.
Not all shops will be able to do this in house as it can require welding - subbing out to a muffler shop is ok as long as you stand by the work and your in-house labor warranty for the USAA Member. Sometimes you'll need to replace oxygen sensors as well, depending on where the it was cut out.
