Shop Emails

It is very important that you or an employee check your email on a daily basis to know of any new/upcoming appointments, new customer messages, tows, and calls. Being prepared for a customer when they show up to an appointment is the #1 factor in a positive customer experience and will lead to increased repeat business. Below is an overview of the different shop emails and when you receive them. To see what customer emails look like, see the article here.

Many of these emails allow you to reply directly to the customer if you need to communicate with the customer.

Customer Appointment Request

This email is sent when a customer creates an appointment request on our website. From this email you can add it to your Google calendar, as long as you are using Google Chrome browser. There is also a link to your shop Dashboard, so you can view the appointment in relation to other appointments.

Customer Reschedule Request

This is similar to the appointment request. This email is sent when a customer reschedules their appointment via the customer self-service page. You will need to confirm the new appointment with the customer.

Customer Cancel Notification

This email is sent when a customer cancels their appointment from the self-service page. We require a reason when a customer cancels their appointment, so looks for this in the email, and it's possible that you can call the customer to reschedule for another day.

Appointment Reminder

This email is sent the day before 1 or more customer appointments are scheduled. This will contain a list of all the appointments that customers have scheduled for the next day.

Customer Message

Our site allows customers to book appointments, call shops, and send messages to shops. When a customer creates a message, an email is sent to you and the customer.

Daily Call Summary

Every morning we send out a summary of all the calls that you received through RepairPal.
