Shift has filed bankruptcy and is no longer in business. Customers with VPPs (Extended Warranties) should still be valid through their administrators found below:

Shift sold its own extended warranties (like CarMax) and has three underwriters: Assurant, Ally, and Veritas. Here is how to reach each ESP:

  • ALLY: 1-800-631-5590 (M-F 8:00am to 5:00pm local time)
  • Assurant / TWG: 1-800-533-8136 (M-F 7:00am to 7:00pm C.T. & 9:00am to 3:30pm C.T Saturday) www.mrclaims.net, autoclaims.com (to file a claim online)
  • Veritas: 888-572-4310
